Is बाँडफाँट free?
Yes. The app is free to use, with no subscription or in-app purchase required.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. You can add bills offline and they sync automatically the next time your device is connected.
How do I invite people to my group?
Open the group and show its QR code. Others scan it from their app to join. No usernames or invite links are needed.
How are uneven amounts split?
If a bill does not divide evenly, the remainder is distributed one paisa at a time so the shares always add up exactly to the total.
What does debt simplification do?
It reduces the number of payments needed to settle a group. If A owes B and B owes C, A may simply pay C. Read more in our debt simplification guide.
Is my data private?
Your groups and bills are visible only to the members of those groups. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
Why is it not on the Play Store?
It is currently distributed as an APK from this site. Android shows a warning for apps installed outside the Play Store; that warning is expected.
Does it move real money?
No. बाँडफाँट only records who owes whom. You pay each other however you normally would, then mark the settlement in the app.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not at the moment. The app is available for Android 7.0 and newer.
