About बाँडफाँट
बाँडफाँट (BillSplit) is a shared-expense tracker built for the way groups in Nepal actually spend money together.
Why it exists
Flatmates, friends on a trek and families on a trip all end up in the same situation: one person pays, another covers the next round, and a week later nobody remembers who owes what. Spreadsheets get abandoned and chat messages get buried. बाँडफाँट keeps one honest ledger per group so the arithmetic is never a source of arguments.
What makes it different
- Offline first. Record a bill without a connection and it syncs when you are back online.
- Exact to the paisa. Uneven splits are distributed so shares always add up to the total.
- Fewer payments. Circular debts are simplified into the minimum number of transfers.
- Your data stays yours. You can delete your account and all of your data from inside the app.
Who makes it
बाँडफाँट is designed and developed by Abhinash Poudel, a software engineering student in Nepal, and is maintained as an independent project. Feedback and bug reports are welcome on the contact page.
